The Dirt, Fifth Issue: Holiday Edition
« Thread Started on Jan 27, 2007, 1:24pm »

While everybody was enjoying the Christmas holidays and New Year’s, The Dirt was hard at work getting that holiday scoop. To make up for the two months of snooping, we’re giving you twice, that’s right, twice the amount of dirt! And believe you me, there was plenty to write about as the exciting year of 2018 came to a close, and 2019 got a hot and heavy start.

One Razel Ahern and Mathias Miller were thought to be calling off the engagement after rumours began that he had cheated on her. Imagine our shock when we spotted the pair canoodling in the bistro, and proclaiming their love for one another less than a month later, and even talking about, yes, you heard it here first, a wedding. Apparently, the pair have moved to a sooner date than was expected. But one has to wonder – with all that Miss Ahern has been through, is she mentally sound enough to resign to a life of making babies for a rich husband? The girl’s sanity has been questioned over the last year, and now, with a wedding date approaching, how will this promising Spirito handle the pressure? People have already begun to bet their life savings on this event being moved to a later date, or the bride cracking in some fashion – maybe even at the alter. Sorry, Mathias, looks like your bride’s a little nuts. Can’t say we blame you for cheating.

As far as marriages go, however, we’re hoping to hear from this one soon enough. Professors Daren Telem and Raeka Zelenko have been spotted with one another more frequently than usual, heading to places that appear to be romantic and fun. Some students can even report having heard the pair making plans to meet in one another’s dorms at night. Now, while we full-heartedly approve of this couple (a Dirt first! Check issue one!), we aren’t entirely sure how comfortable we can be knowing that they’re doing the nasty all over our fine school. So professors, please do us a favour – get married, and move in together. It’s really just that simple.

And is there another romance blossoming between our superiors? Your heart might say no, but you’ve all seen it. Professor Omar Canizales has, between deducting house points left, right and centre, and generally slapping detentions wherever he goes, developed a rather unrequited love for none other than our very own Headmistress. Apparently, he hasn’t seen his competition, the Minister of Magic, David Fairchild. We’re praying these two might actually bring it down to an epic duel for Monelli, but has she already made her choice? People are saying she’s been pushing away from her professor, and getting closer to the Minister everyday. Look out, Canizales, because it might just be a matter of time because you lose your woman to someone else.

Returning to the student crisis, however, you may recall one Dominic Constantine. Accused homosexual, flirt extraordinaire… apparently tied down. Or at least, he was. Certain students claim to have seen him with none other than our his roommate, Rune Gunner, our school's very own vampire. Though these reports could still very well be true, one thing is for certain – Gunner was sleeping in the same bed as his partner. Constantine was seen breaking it off with him in a yelling match before the pair stomped away, further details unknown. Could any of this have something to do with a new flame? We at The Dirt think so! Throughout all of this, Renée LaFayé’s relationship with one Riley Sullivan has seem extremely troubled (possibly already ended, given the fact that the pair are never seen together anymore). Did Dominic break it off with Gunner to be with his fellow prefect? Are we finally being allowed some closure in the love octagon that this young man started via LaFayé? We aren’t sure, but if you keep reading The Dirt, answers are bound to come up!

In light of this, however, a lot of broken hearts have been left in Constantine’s trail – one young woman who won’t let his whorish ways slow her down is Aspen Richardson, however, who seems to have already found a new beau in new student Casper Visser. The pair were spotted at Dance Addiction one night, where Visser bought Richardson a drink, and the pair spent he night dancing, and having sex – that’s right, sex – on the dance floor. People around the couple appeared disgusted in spite of how much they tried to hide it, and they eventually wandered off to the Estremo dorms to finish the deed. Next time, guys, keep it in your pants until you get a room!

Speaking of keeping things in, guess who just let themselves out of the closet? While it was a well-known fact that Clio Telem was playing for the same team as of on of our very first issues, what we neglected to see was one Lisa Allen’s clever cover-up. Apparently, the pair have been a couple for over half a year, acting as though they were merely what we initially described them as for the cameras, and then getting hot and heavy while people weren’t looking. The pair recently started allowing public signs of affection, and this reporter in particular is disgusted. Not with the homosexual aspect of it all – oh no – but how this pair has become an affront to the gay community. By keeping things secret, they gave the impression that they were ashamed of their relationship. And, hey, let’s face it – they probably were. We can’t say we blame them, but for the more honest Telem, we say she could do better. The relationship isn’t predicted to last much longer.

While certain relationships are doomed to end, however, some appear to be blossoming. Whether or not the new girl, Brynna Fitzpatrick, could ever love her newest companion is still in the air, but she and Kajetan Sabelli seem to be off to a flying start. They met a short time ago atop the roof, a popular make-out point among many of our students here at Anima Eterna, though there are few details of what went on up there. According to a reliable source, however, sparks flew. Where this couple has to go is unknown, but most of us here are thinking up.

If you thought that Kajetan was bad, however, you should have seen his brother Dante Sabelli in action with his girlfriend, Allison Carmichael, back in December. The pair were seen fighting over none another than Mathias Miller and Razel Ahern (oh, the good those two bring us). After a short yelling match, Dante reportedly got violent, and began to beat his significant other. Sources claim that she turned to someone else for comfort, though who this is is unknown. What we do know, however, is that the brutal beating Sabelli gave his girlfriend could not be frowned upon more. Next time you want to beat on a woman, Dante, remember – The Dirt is watching you. The couple appears to still be together, but we hope, for Allison’s sake, that they’ll split before the boy’s next bought of violence is brought down on his girlfriend again.

It’s not as bad as beating, but stalking can get pretty goddamn creepy – particularly when you’re stalking a female who shows absolutely nothing but fear towards you. Michael Parker has been seen following none other than quiet Aidan Romano around the school in a desperate attempt to get her attention. He showed up to a party being held in her room just to see the girl, and chased her when she tried to leave. It’s gotten so bad that the girl has supposedly requested not to be partnered with him on any projects, seated beside him in any class, and is even thinking about moving out of her dorm. Who could blame her, though? Being stalked is nothing fun, particularly not by someone as persistent as Parker. We can only hope he’ll slow things down before he gets himself in big trouble, or slapped with a restraining order.

Artemis Devereux, one of six siblings that recently moved to Anima Eterna, has been spotted hanging around Luc de Lioncourt. Little has been heard about either, except that both seem private and quiet. Knowing their family members, however, things aren’t hard to figure out. Jacques de Lioncourt, ever popular with the ladies and rumoured to have done some naughty things with Lisa Allen back in the day (Clio, you could do better), has often been seen taking advantage of young women such as Artemis. Is it in the family? We most certainly hope not, but if it is, we’re sure the girl’s older siblings will be able to put Luc back in his place.

Finally, we’ve got a drug scandal. Janelle Tristanson, well-known addict and dealer, has finally spiraled out of control. Though it is reported she went to see the Headmistress about quitting, people have stated they’ve seen the girl shooting up before classes. A lost cause, her best friends have even abandoned her (or did she abandon Leniah Draumur and Serapha Hellman herself?). And yet, this apparently doesn’t stop her from getting in some flirting with her ex-best friend’s cousin, James Telem. The pair are often seen bickering around the school, leaving people to wonder if it’s just sheer hatred, or a hidden relationship. It’s also been said that Janelle has coerced Telem to try drugs, and gotten him his fix ever since. Perhaps Tristanson is trying to get back at Draumur for something or another – it’s hard to tell. Whatever it is, though, it seems to be fuelled by spite. If there’s anything happening between these two (more than sharing needles, that is), we’ll find out.

We’re planning on following up all the couples mentioned in our special holiday issue, but until then, keep your ears to the ground, and your noses in the air, sniffing out stories! We here at The Dirt will be doing the same – so keep your eyes and ears peeled. But remember – if you didn’t see it yourself, you heard it here first!
