Okay, this was probably the most confusing mash of conflicting feelings Zel had ever experience. On one hand, the school had been attacked and many were injured and many others killed. On the other hand, Daren Telem was totally her boyfriend now.

Right, no. That was being ridiculous. Of course she could be glad that they were finally together, but for the moment the sad truth was that she had more pressing matters to deal with. Families of deceased students, paperwork she was required to fill out as their head of house. All of it was so sickening to deal with that at in the morning she just didn't want to get out of bed because she knew it would mean she would have to go back to work.

Yet it was so direly necessary. Not to mention the plans that Elisa had suggested to her. If they were going to do, well, that...then it would require a lot of preparation. Preparation that she needed to help her friend with as one of the few people capable of doing so.

She knew that things were only going to get harder now. Had the was official begun, or was this still build up? Did the Ministry need to get involved for it to be war, or was this still just terrorism run wild?

Screw it, it didn't matter. It was war for her. If killing dozens of her innocent students wasn't a declaration of war, Professor Zelenko didn't know what was...

And Daren Telem was totally her boyfriend now! Wait, that was off topic.

Unable to put herself through anymore red tape, Zel had decided to play around with some of her orbs as opposed to doing other work. They had come in handy during the attack, and considering the dangerous nature of everything she wanted to be prepared. That meant devising more different styles, more different effects. It was time to get inventive again.

Several of the glowing glass shells were sitting on her desk as she leaned back in her chair, idly poking at one of the newer purple ones with her wand. She would have to go test them sometime later that day. There was a lot of things she could back into these devices, but the effects had to be controlled. Last thing she needed was to create a defective grenade.

...Hey, did wizards patent things? She couldn't remember.

It really was a wonderful day in the neighbourhood! For him, anyway. Not so much for his eldest daughter nor her boyfriend, considering he'd just mauled him. That'd been oh so very fun, however. Unfortunately, it probably meant his time with Professor Zelenko was going to be cut a little short.

Ah, no matter. He would obviously just have to make it count, no?

Carefully, His Heir the Second reached into the back of his jeans' pocket and withdrew the shrunken case he'd been keeping those roses in. Ohohohoho, they were blood red. That reminded him of all the organs he'd seen that day. For a moment, he was tempted to race his daughter to the Constantine boy just to open him up again, maybe stuff a rose in there...

No, no, he had other business to attend to at Anima Eterna right now. That said, he should probably clean himself off a little. He had a bit of Dominic spatter right up above his eye. Good thing they left their washrooms so very public.

Once he'd done this, the case was disposed of after being turned back to its original size and the roses extracted. Ah, a lovely bouquet. Excellent, all women enjoyed roses! Tally ho, off to Zelenko!

He practically skipped there, managing to seem sombre as he came to her door and rapped against it rather quietly with his knuckles, brown eyes peering inwards. "Hello there Miss Zelenko. Is now a bad time?"

Excellent. She was there. That was all the women had to do to be putty in the fantastical hands of... CHASE ALLEN! DUNANANANAAAAAAAAA.

Unfortunately (or fortunately for the Heir) Zel still had no idea what Second had just been up to, and so was only dealing with the regular amount of angst that she had grown accustomed to over the last few days. Had she known that one of her Spirito was on death's door- yet again -she would have been out of there far too quickly for Chase to giver her the flowers, let alone chat.

As it was, however, she was still thoughtfully sitting at her desk as he arrived, still prodding around the orbs that she had been examining as she honestly couldn't force her mind to do anything useful. It had come to a point where there was so much to think about that she couldn't seem to think of anything comprehensively, like all the thoughts were trying to get through the same doorway at once.

There was a rap on the door.

"Hello there Miss Zelenko. Is now a bad time?"

She vaguely recognized the voice from their prior meeting, and immediately shifted to a more professional position in her desk. She'd dealt with enough parents lately to know what to expect, though she wasn't sure what the Allen in particular would be wanting. Both of his daughters graduated that year, what did it matter to him what the school did? He couldn't have been announcing that his children were leaving AE's care like some of the other's had.

Zel was unsure of what to expect in the encounter, but none the less she would be as polite as she could. He had been friendly before, so maybe he wasn't just pursuing some authoritative pipe dream. Maybe there would actually be a reasonable conversation.

Absently tidying her clothes, she began to get up from her seat, looking towards the door with a sombre yet not oppressively dark expression on her face. It was important to show her respect for any remorse or worry the man may have been feeling.

"Oh, hey there Mr. Allen," she greeted amiably, taking a step around the frame of her desk to approach him. "No, no, now is fine. It's good to see you. What's on your mind?"

That was, assuming he had a particular objective. Oh well, she would see in due time.
