Alone Time? {Open} « Thread Started on Jul 15, 2007, 4:07pm »
(July 10th 2:00a.m)
Stone floors were not ideal for students who wanted to sneak around quietly, let alone the tiles floors of the swimming area.
Kristen's flip-flops made clicking sounds as she uncaringly sped walked down the left side of the enormous pool. The noise traveled far, seeing there was nothing to get in the way of it, meaning no people. She had been hoping that two o'clock in the morning would serve as the perfect time to go swimming alone. A hunch prooven- a bit obvious, but still prooven.
After placing her towel and clothes on the blue tiles, she dove into the water, finding it to be just below warm, and started her laps. She moved easily in the water, making the moves look graceful. Even though there were no eyes to show off to, it was still refreshing to know she hadn't lost her touch in the long time she hadn't been in the pool. Years of practice told her she looked great. Her brown hair was on the short side; it was just above her belly button, being cut last week. Usually, her hair was grown out to her waist, but it became annoying and frustrating to go through trying to brush it in the mornings. Her blue eyes popped compared to her hair. They stood out, being big, which wasn't a problem for Kristen.
The black bikini she had on was easy to spot in the clear water of the pool, so she did her best to keep quiet. That way, no one would come in and see her. But, someone could be just as privacy-needing as her and walk in anyway. This is the flaw in her plan.
Before Kristen worried about it more, she dipped under the water and settled herself on the bottom of the pool.

(THIS I TOTALLY FORGOT! If you want to, like, not continue it, I so understand. But might still will fix it!)
When the hell did the school get a pool? That's what she wanted to know. How do you miss a pool? They are, like, huge! Then again, this school was pretty big. Bigger then any school she'd ever seen. But here it was, a Pool! And it was a lovely pool. To bad she really could not swim anymore.
...Or could she?
Wouldn't it be cool if she could still? Then again, she never was a good swimmer. She could only dog-paddle. But little Bonnie could wade for, like, ever! More then any kid she ever knew. Now that was something to be prideful about. Which, of course, she was. But, the question was...could she actually swim?
Why weren't there people around?
Ghost forget about unimportant things like "time" and "sleep." Though she was wise enough not to wake people up while they were sleeping. For the most part. Even the chaotic creature that was Danny like the quiet time. Besides, some of the pets were about and they could be nice friends. Some of them. The ones that liked her. Or, any that did not run away.
At the very moment, the ghost girl skidded around the bottom. Maybe she could find something someone dropped. Or pretend to be a mer-person! No wait, what did the plumbing look like? She gazed in one of the side holes of the pool.
Wait, what was that sound? That was a splash. Perhaps she should go investigate!
Uh oh, something fell into the pool! A big something. Perhaps she should try and get it out! So, the Mad one glided through the pool and gazed down at the statue. She floated in front of the statue, wondering how to pick it up.
Oh wait, it was a person. Danny stared at the girl in the water before deciding that it was even better then a statue! She waved and smiled cheerfully.
Kristen didn't so much as scream than inhale the water she was floating in. The girl had come out of seemingly no where and she hadn't expected it, obviously. Even though she was waving and cheerful, there was something about her, something not normal. Well, there was nothing 'normal about being in a pool in the middle of the night. She shouldn't have been pointing fingers.
With the water now occupying her lungs, she sought the surface for air.
Her head hit empty space, and the coughing that echoed through the room was hoarse and wasn't pleasant to listen to. Call it instinct, but that couldn't be anything good. Getting a disease, such as pneumonia or something just as awful, wasn't a concern for Kristen because of her bloodline. She healed too rapidly for infection. But it was still damn uncomfortable.
A little liquid spilled out of her mouth as she turned in fast circles, looking for the girl. What was she doing here at this hour and how had she approached without her noticing until they were practically touching? Silent girl? Unlikely.
Instead of creating more ripples in the water and making visibility zero at the bottom of the pool, Kristen dunked her head under and locked her eyes on the figure. She couldn't exactly ask what was up without air, so she just floated there and stared at the girl with a confused look painted all over her face. Must have been awkward for the one below her, but hey.

Well how rude! It's like not she put on a scary face or anything like that. She just waved hi. No need to rush out of the pool. The though of surprising someone in the pool while they were trying to be alone was not a thought that took up any space in Danela's head. Though the bubbles were forming a cool pattern.
Hey, she did not get out. Just floated up and now was looking back down at her. OF COURSE! She just needed to breath! That is a perfectly normal function. Conveniently forgetting that horrified look on the girl's face, Danny floated up toward her. It should be noted that she made no move to do any type of swimming. She simply floated up from the water, as it it was nothing. Though her flailing hair might appear to float out in the water. That was more of a trick; her hair always looked like that.
She was now in front of the student yet again. With a wave and a smile, she then preceded to float out of the water, motioning for the one still under to go up. She had to breath, after all. So now Danny was clearly floating on top of the water. It almost look holy how she merely hovered right on the water's surface. She just did not wanna float to high. The water also looked pretty looking down at it.
"HEY!" She probably shouted a little more then she needed to, "How long have you known this school had a pool?" The ghost was still pretty darn tick-off that nobody told her about that.
