OKAY. So. Guys...guys. For those of you that don't know, I have something awesome to tell you. This has been a long time in coming (I've been thinking about doing it since last November if not earlier) but it's finally happened. I am proud to say that you can officially conduct all of your Anima Eterna business HERE:

THAT RIGHT! WE'RE OFFICIAL! It's taken about a week of grueling labour (and several panic attacks and sleepless nights on my part) but it is finally set up!

After the deletion scare, I realized just how much I wanted us to be independent and official. I put so much time and so much love into this place that I want it to be as awesome as possible, and I felt that AE deserved its own home. Before I go into some ground rules and special features on the new forum, I want to send out some thank yous.

Thank you Lena for committing yourself financially and giving me the confidence to pursue getting our own domain and hosting. THANK YOU SO MUCH for sticking with me through that horrid day of grunt-work (putting up the boards descriptions and setting the member groups were a nightmare) and for calming me down last night when I was freaking out. You helped a LOT. <3 <3 <3

Next thanks goes to Kiwi for making the sexy, sexy banner and for all the moral support. You are my favouritest hero when it comes to comfort. Also, for the financial help when we figure out how to get money from New Zealand to Canada. xD Much love. <3

Thanks to Mick and Dani for taking the time to consult me about what forum software to use. Simple Machines was an awesome find.

Lastly, but not...leastly (ENGLISH LANGUAGE PLZ?) I thank Zi for making Anima Eterna and giving me an internet home for the last two (almost) years. It's one of my proudest accomplishments to admin on this site, and it would have really sucked if I had never discovered this place. <3

Wait, wait, not done yet. I have to thank all of you roleplayers for committing your time to contributing and making this place awesome. <3 Without you AE would not exist. MUCH LOVE TO YOU ALL.

Now that I'm done with the mush fest, here is the deal with the new forum. As it turns out, Simple Machines is some queer mix between Proboards and Invisionfree so some things will take some getting used to.

1) As a note, threads will work like this. Finish all old threads on the Proboards site. Start any new ones on the new site. For the next little while you'll have to jump between the two, but once everything is wrapped up on the Proboards forum everything will be done on the new site. In you're wondering, the old forum will remain as an archive for people to read at their leisure. You all know first hand how much we like to preserve our history, after all. xD *Rubs her copypasting arm sorely*

2) We're not sure why, but the new forum doesn't allow more than one member to register with the same email.\ We'll have to find a way to work with this while dealing with the new forum.

3) The registration is finicky, and doesn't like it if you create more than one account in a row. So please be patient and wait in between creating accounts...it usually takes about fifteen or twenty minutes to let you make another. If you are having problems with this, then talk to me or Lena and we'll try to help you out.

4) We kindly ask that you set your accounts "birthday" to that of your character. Meaning for Dominic I put "January 25th, 1988" as opposed to my own birthday. This is so that the forum calendar will dictate character birthdays alone, so that they are easier to keep track of. Please put in the date that will make the account state your characters in character age at our current date.

For reference, those that just graduated would be 1988. Those going into eighth year would 1989. Seventh years would be born in 1990. Use this as a reference for putting in the right age for your characters.

5) We now have to use member groups for pips and stuff, so we'll be assigning those appropriately when accounts are created. Also, please leave your "Custom Titles" alone. Those will be used to write information like "Seventh Year" or the subject of a professor's teaching, etc. The Personal Text is still yours to mess with, though, so rock on.


Aaaaand that's about it. After we are finished creating our new character accounts, Lena and I will assist other people in creating theirs. Any questions or concerns, please talk to her or me about it. I hope you like the new place. =D

AND KEEP AN EYE OUT. The next site wide plot point will be posted on the new forum shortly. Sadistic fun will be had by all, I assure thee. >D
